“Create a Floral Bouquet Painting Acrylic Workshop ”
Instructor: Galina Stockskill
The class will explore how to create unique flower arrangement step by step. All supplies are included, just show up and let’s have fun.
Fresh flowers for working from life, photos to work from, and stencils to help with drawing are provided.
Note: All levels from beginner to advanced are welcome. If you like, bring a lidded drink along.
Artist statement: I have always loved painting. From childhood on, I have enjoyed mixing different colors and smelling fresh paint. My favorite technique is gouache. Using gouache, I can express the manner in which I see and feel the world around me. Also, I enjoy experimenting with new materials and techniques. I like to paint landscapes, architecture, seascapes and flowers. In my artwork, I like to combine the rich sensuous color of nature with an impressionistic manner of painting that I studied in Russia. My favorite times are when I can be outside with my easel, working. I am very happy to live in Raleigh because the North Carolina weather allows painting outside all year round.

Feel free to bring a lidded drink. Our sunroom is air conditioned and has heat. It is a lovely all glass space that seats only 8, which allows for individual instruction in the intimate setting.
